The Boko Haram-ISIS alliance is now a reality. I have once written about how Boko Haram and ISIS are similar and when rumors of the allegiance came up, I also wrote about it and now I’m writing about the reality of the allegiance. It gives me so much sadness to write about this because as I do, I think about all the innocent people these monsters have murdered in the name of Allah.
Boko Haram, imitating their master, ISIS have carried out and released a video showing them beheading a member of the Nigerian military.
The sad video (which you can see screenshots from below) video shows the gruesome beheading of a captured military officer.
In the 10mins video, the sect members are seen engaging the military in a gun battle and then the video shows them standing proudly next to the corpses of the military officers killed and the video ends with the gruesome beheading of a captured military officer.
The man who spoke in the video is Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the so called ‘Caliph of the Islamic Caliphate and leader of Muslims worldwide’.
“We announce to you to the good news of the expansion of the caliphate to West Africa. Our caliph has accepted the pledge of loyalty of our brothers of Boko Haram so we congratulate Muslims and our jihadi brothers in West Africa.’
This gives us a lot of cause to worry but that’s not all. Another scary report alleges that ISIS has started sending fighters to North Eastern Nigeria, the operational base of Boko Haram. This allegation was made by a security expert. See his tweet below:
I’m disturbed by these reports and I know that there might be more reports of ISIS fighters arriving Nigeria. This might of course cause the US and international community to step in, as they would not want West Africa to be a safe haven or breeding ground for ISIS.
